13k with about 40%-50% tread left

 

I just put my stock Advans back on (swapped them at 15K miles for snow tires) they still have about 20 - 25% life left in them.

 

DO A SEARCH.

There's been tons of threads on this. I even setup a thread with a poll! Most were getting 15k if they were autox'ing or racing. Normal driving was 22-25k on average.

 

20k out of a set of stock tires?????? do you guys drive on dirt???

I got 5300 out of the first set but that included 3 track days and some drag racing and auto-x..... I now have 10k miles on the car..... 2nd set is well over half worn out at 5k miles.... no racing other than one day at the dragstrip and street pissing around.

so.....i would say 8k miles for me.

 

ive got 15k on mine, and are alittle bald on the insides, but can go alittle more i guess.

 

I have 12k miles and the fronts are down to the belt... the rears have 10% left...

 

I got 30K out of the stock ADVANs. I drive 90% highway. I rotated them at each oil change. I now have 48K on my 2003 evo 8! The most in the US I think! Still running Great!

 

I've got 16,000 miles now.. And they are ready to go... Just about slicks now... I'm surprised I got that far....!! Woo hoo!!

 

I know this is off this is a bit off topic, but can someone help me out with the search?

Like boomn29 said, do a search, but then what do I search for? tire wear? tires? advan mileage? the search does not work that well. Also, if you're a newbie, you're more likely to post a redundant topic rather than search for it.

 

what did you guys do in terms of heat cycling.... i only drive a few miles a day locally right now while i'm breaking in the car, so I haven't really done ANYTHING in terms of heat cycling these babies.... been easy on them though so far...
