Is the electronic front diff in addition to AYC/ACD or a replacement for them?
Considering the added weight, it would not make much sense...

Shirokuma, looks like you were spot on with that one reply in the other thread.

 

AYC is rear diff
ACD is center diff

Currently, the front diff is a mechanical LSD or Open diff

 

AYC = Active Yaw Control

Check it out. It is tons better than ASC or DSC or whatever everyone else uses. I applies more torque as apposed to yanking a brake.

No, it doesn't look like a Sunfire.
Why do people think it looks likea potiac grill...the point for the emblem points up on the ans down on the Pontiacs. And just because two cars have a curved grill doesn't mean they look alike. Mustangs have a similar grill also....I don't see people saying IT looks like a Sunfire.

 

i saw a pontiac cavalier or the one that is made by pontiac(cant remember the name) and the front grill area looks like the Evo8!

It was really funny as i thought to myself, hey now i know where the Mitsu Evo8 designers got their inspiration from

 

the OutLander looks like the Aztec too.

All the WRC cars use electronic front, center, rear diffs

Electronic diffs react a whole lot quicker than mechanical diffs and they can be programmed with more precision as well.

 

I like Evo 7 front bumper better. But the bumper may be designed that way to let more air toward the intercooler and the front brakes.

About front differential, could it be the ASC? Active Stability Control (ASC) is a system which generates turning force by employing breaking (braking?) force differentials in left and right wheels. It's another Mitsubishi trademark technology.

Those pictures are photochopped people. Look at them and compare them to the one's from the Mitsu meeting. they're different.

 

OMG what are you saying? a rally car isnt an import? for one no matter what you think the EVO is hand has always been a Rally car, sure it might hav had a street trim model but its still a rally car

plus you should look into reading a book or a english class to make your statements more legible
