Question regarding our OBD-II ports for a datalogger:

I have the adapter and software that is supposed to be general to all OBD-II computers, which I'm sure the EVO is. I originally got it for my Tiburon a few years back.

The adapter was caled ISO. The website I got it from does not have the EVO listed (surprise), but just about every asian import was ISO.

Can you think of any reason why my old setup wouldn't work to datalog and run codes on the EVO? Just trying to make sure we don't have some super-proprietary connector or weird OBD-II signals.

I have used both scantool.net cable and "Jeff's" ISO cable. Both have worked fine for me.
