I hear ya...you should get the deposit in anyway, as long as it's refundable u don't have to buy the car and u can get your money back. But if the car turns out to be say 27,000 you will be kicking yourself if it comes over in limited numbers.

I talked to the guy I lovingly refer to as "Donut **** in Training"....he owns a G35, he says it's a nice car, but he only bought it because the insurance on the 350Z was looking to be a little to high. He says the interior and ride comfort are great, but it's just not the same feel as some of the other cars he's driven.

Bottom line....it's like the M3 vs. Evo discussion. If you want luxury/comfort along with a great handling car...then go with the G35. If you want a raw, beast, that can kick the crap out of nearly anything on the road, then go with the Evo.

Evo vs G35 coupe

Hey hooby...

I understand what you mean. I own a single turbo Supra... I know what kicking the **** out of anything on the road is all about. however i am looking at hte G35 coupe that is a 4 seated Z350. it is fast also, but this would be my daily driver. Lots of issues and so many NICE cars coming out now. It is a fun time to shop. Evo is at the top of my list though. I am used to the crazy turbo power!

PS... This is my asskicking mobil!

creeper, nice car! I'm also looking into the G35 coupe. A mighty fine looking car but I have heard that it looks faster than it is. There should be plenty of after market parts available though.
What's your thinking?

Yup

Thanks for the compiments guys, the supra is a labor of love. She pulls real hard, and if you can believe it is a real sleeper. I get revved on from everyone, Civics, Mustangs, you name it...

My feeling on the G35c is that ther will be mods for it, but it is the next best thing to having a GT-R, my true dream car. I am assuming that with a twin turbo, this car will become the R35. So I figure being ahead of the game. It will be tight race to the end though if they make the EVO right.

Only 16 members have deposits, I thought there would be more. I have a feeling after Superbowl Sunday, no deposit, no Evo...at least no 1st shipment Evo.

Put my refundable deposit yesterday. #2 in line. They think it's coming Superbowl Sunday and only 5 at this dealership.
