im actually fairly interested in the battery...saving 20lbs is a nice idea.... I dont run many electronics (decent radio...no amps and things....) and getting a Utec.... no biggie...I should be okay....

Is the life of these batteries much lower????

Used to run a motor cycle batt. Will work if you mod the charging system so as not to boil things. NOT a good idea in cold weather.

Quickshift, which battery do you have? There were several discussed above.

Thats cool to know no one has has problems really. I was just giving my own impressions. When I use to be into Silvia's and what not and use the car vac to clean up, or just ran the radio for a bit while I washed or whatever it always seemed to struggle or not start at all. After that I began converting cars to trunk mounted with an optima, I have a decent discount on those anyways. Don't get me wrong these were usually factory radio's, some cars with a head unit but nothing sic, I am not big on car audio.

loose 30 pounds and don't get the battery. use car vac and play Al Green when you have your date on the backseat.

See, there is a benefit of having a 4 door sports car.

problem solved.

That's cool. Was the Buschur kit worth the extra money? I believe it replaces the factory tray as well, right? I was thinking about the Buschur kit also.

The odyssey is same battery in the bushur kit. I have had mine in for a week and it works great.

Here some the install pics-

I don't think it is. The Odyssey 680 has 680 amps of cranking power if im correct, and the Buschur one has approx 800-880. The word is that the Buschur kit is the same as the Xtatic Batcap, which would certainly be more inline with the pricing that Buschur has for the kit, and the cranking power they claim, not to mention the fact that the battery is also black, instead of red like the odyssey.
