I would definitely be interested in electroluminescent gauges... anyone know of anyone that does them for the EVO?

my brother just got a 2005 STi, and his gauges look downright awesome.

Other than those on Ebay, I haven't been able to find any

I am guessing you bought those red gel covers you talk about? May want to post a parts list. Nice writeup!

Enought that it's clearly lit up during the day now. Before you couldn't notice that the lights were on during theday, but now you can really tell. This is assuming you don't put the gel covers on.

The only place I could find them was Autozone. And they are NOT near the bulbs where you'd think they'd be.

Well, I went ahead and did it. As it turns out, the the 3 tach bulbs had WHITE covers on them. Anyway, ripped those off (it took a long *** time cause the condoms melted onto the bulbs!) and spray painted the bulbs red. It looks awesome now! Thanks!

Today I just pulled the three boots off my bulbs as well (they were blue boots, not white). The brightness improvement is very big, and the lighting is still very even. You don't need to paint the stock bulbs red, as the applique is already red anyway. Doing that will just decrease your intensity. Just pull the bulbs off and you'll be fine. It only takes about 5 minutes to pull the cluster and do it.
