I got about 16K outta the originals with a couple rotations, they were pretty bald when I finally swapped them out. In the rain there not to bad, however if you get into descent sized puddles they have a habbit of hydro plaining. Forget about snow. Their horrible. I had the stockers on all winter and was lucky to get through it alive.

I got 10,500 out of mine. In the rain they are fine, but in the snow they are like running slicks. I drove in the snow one day and I got about 500 ft down the street before my car slid off the road and into some grass. Luckily, my neighbor had a tractor and he pulled out my car off the grass.

16K and still some tread left on the middle and outter edge but inner edge getting balded. I will be changing them around 17K to Bridgestone S03. Advan handled better than any tire I've owned in wet.
Hope the S03 will last till 25K. I hate to spend $800 to change tires every year.

Like people say, the advans hold great in the rain. However, it's still rubber on a wet road. Put too much gas into a a tight turn and the back end will come loose immediately. That being said, I think most people would agree with me that the evo handles better in the rain than most cars do on dry asphalt. 4wd really helps.

I'm still running the stock set, although I expect to get about 12k out of them. We'll see.

I have little over 16k on my stock advans. I am close to the wear bars, but not quite there yet. They have worn very evenly and I rotated them every 5k miles. I think 17-18k will be the max I get out of these tires without them becoming dangerous to drive in the wet, not to mention they will start tram lining on uneven surfaces more. BTW.. My car has never been to a track meet or anything. Just normal driving to and from work. So if anyone is getting more mileage than 17-18k on them I just won't believe it.

I'm at 26k miles... they still have some tread, but really probably need to be replaced. But we get no rain here in cali in summer so I am miliking them through the summer and will replace them probably late SEPT- early OCT. 30k miles plus at that time. They are great now... still grip good but can get them to break lose a little bit easier accerating hard out of tight corners, ... kinda fun. I like em this way.

WEird thing is, I see people only getting 10k, 12k, 15 outta theirs... WHY?? Track time I guess? I drive really hard, spend a LOT of time in mountains / canyons (I live in the mountains) and just drive it hard, and I got 26k. why?

That is encouraging to hear. Mine haven't worn that fast, I just assumed they would start to wear faster about the first couple thousand miles. If i can get 20k out of them with norma/somewhat spirited driving, i'll be happy indeed.

I also got about 16K out of mine with frequent track visits. I'm not talking about the dragstrip either...

I'm at 16K. But I knew they were useless at temps below, say, 45 degrees. I purchased my Evo in late Oct and put less than a thousand miles on my tires, putting on all-seasons. So, having 16K on the odo right now and I'd say half my life left on my stock Advans is right.

If you get snow you get cold - get some all-seasons. Mount 'em during the cold/snow/winter months. Get your life out of your stock Advans - and do NOT forget to rotate 'em every 5K...

HTH...

17k with decent rubber left. They are the best tire in the rain I've ever had. Snow ? Suicide.
