im thinking of getting a system.. should i not put my amps where the spare tire is? has your windshielf wiper fluid container melted? how severe is this heat in the trunk? keep the amps away from the spare tire area? talk to me baby.

I'm removing the donut and fibreglassing in a 12" woofer, and I'm undecided on an amp rack against the rear seat or in a false floor.

anway the heat's only real bad near the areas the exhaust is underneath-- I don't have hard data on that, but after checking the probe was still intact I felt the areas with my hand.

if your amps aren't fan cooled though they could get pretty toasty.
