Time

I finally settled on a price with the Mitsubishi dealership in Cleveland yesterday. I put down a $200 deposit so they would actually go out and find my car. My big fat check showed up from those nice people at Household Automotive that gave me a 4.39% rate on my loan...... NOW WHAT? I sit here and obsesively hunt down every link on the net that is returned in google showing Mitsubishi Evolution 2004. Read and re-read every single post on this board! Browse sites and ad modification parts to the my shopping cart and just before I buy them close the webbrowser!!!

My Land Rover that i'm trading in has 34,500 on it and the car buyer at Mitsubishi asked me to not go over 36,000.

I'm being consumed by the thought of driving around in my new Evo. HOW THE F*** do I pass my time!

Most dealerships have 04's on the lot. I'm not sure what you are waiting for exactly.

Go to your local regional forum on this site and ask those folks if they have any leads on Evos in the area. Then take your loan check to that dealership and get your car.

SC~

Rick Case only had blue 03 on the lot. I checked with Medina, Mentor, Cuyahoga Falls.. NONE of them had any 04's. Medina had a yellow 03 and Mentor had a used 03 with 16k miles on it.

I closed the deal with Medina. Well.. I payed them a $200 non-refundable deposit and agreed on a price.

On another note. I've been looking around for Evo's on the street and I haven't seen ONE yet. Where are you guys hiding in cleveland?

There are very few evos in cleveland. 2 of us at my office have em, me and the guy who sits next to me.

The evo (or at least my experiance with them) is a shoddy car. This is the first non-german car I have owned, and the drop in quality is freaking remarkable. I am continually having to put some sort of work into it (rotors, engine defect from the factory, rotors again, ect, ect). Hang out on these boards a few days and you will see the common problems. I commute 80 miles a day in this car, and it isn't that fun to commute in. If I could do it again, I wouldn't have bought an evo. Granted, the evo is a fun *** car, but, it is not a daily driver IMO.

im in lakewood, ive seen a couple over here (2 silver ones and a blue) - i dont know what you did in parma to get such a good deal, but the sales manager treated me like **** and talked to me like i was 16 - the sales guys i talked to were real nice, but damn their boss was a *****. I have the same commute miles and i think the car rides fine - but german cars ride alot nicer ill agree - im coming from an '03 civic SI and i think this cars ride is as good or better.

wow..thats pretty funny. My friend, has a 03, races it 2 times a month in scca races, and is his daily driver and has 20k+ miles on it, has had 0 problems with it, is still on his original cluth and has never had to replace any defective parts.

the blue one in lakewood is my friends.

how i did it?

I walked in in the winter and said : "I will give you 27k for that evo"

manager pissed and moaned, but I said: "Fine, I'll go buy it elsewhere"

27k deal done.

Anyway, im gonna pick up a bmw, audi or benz to commute in, cause this evo is *** for commuting.
