The wrong weight label and tolerences is not a minor thing.
It is a BLATENT law suit if someone loads too much **** in their car..
Crashes then sues mitsu..
It is a legitimate error and it is an error that is in writing on ALL their cars!!
Perhaps not reporting it like Fuso did would be a better option.

The only reason Mitsu is fixing this sticker is because it is a liability issue. They don't want to be sued if someone overloads the car and causes problems.
yeah the reasn why they do this is because if the sticker says a weight and u go and weigh the car and its heavier, you can sue and
would have a big lawsuit on there hands nevermind other people finding out and sueing for the same reason which would all basicly be money

So we return to the dealer, then they determine if the car is modded via a quick inspection (they look for bov, dp, etc...), then they issue a warranty restriction on the car in question. Those guys are pretty smart!

I got mine today..... They can't past judgement on the car unless you bring it in for service on said parts.... Ex. if i have an exhaust and blah blah they can't search the car and write down stuff and keep it on record.... thats the same BS as searching forums for your crap or following you to a race track... They can only red flag a car if the customer complains and they discover something in the process... otherwise its a huge lawsuit in my eyes... Its almost like an invasion of privacy
I heard the sticker was worth 5HP!
I can't wait to drive to the nearest Mitsubishi Dealer (72 miles away because my local dealer went under) and pick up these free ponies!
can shove their sticker, clutch and tranny!....
I love you Diamond Star

ITs a waranty restricton thing. DONT GO!! Well, Im not, but I also promised myself and my EVO that I would never return to the dealership after I bought her. A sticker, hehe!! Can I have some tires to go with the sticker please, or maybe an alignment(which they would prob **** up anyways),.

offical recalls so far are O2 and POS sticker..... forget about the important things like clutch and drivetrain... i'm waiting for the traditional DSM transfer case recalls... but then again they usually takes about 7 years to happen
another recall i'm waiting for is this **** GAS ecu programming... you can feel so much HP loss with 3 octane numbers
