It would seem, though, that if this is intended for the USDM, they'd spell it like the product that's in the USDM, which is the OZ Rally edition.

Oh well, thats' just my 2 cents.
Why on earth are they going to flood the initial production batch with the A61 combo (large wing + sunroof)? Sunroof = bad!
Otherwise looks pretty good, aside from the glaring lack of AYC/ACD.

I don't trust this fax. The errors mentioned above "rallye" and the standard wing, and then mentioning the wing as an option (2 sizes). I think a dealer or SOMEONE made it up to get more downpayments.
As the for sunroof, I sure as heck don't want one. Whoever is buying an Evolution and wants a sunroof doesn't know what this car is all about. Sunroof = 1. More weight. 2. Less structural integrity, mostly in worst-case rollover scenario. 3. Less headroom, therefore in a rollover you have a better chance of getting your head smashed if you're not wearing a helmet. Sunroofs suck in racecars. Last time I checked, Evolution is a race car, not a Cavalier, Sunfire or Saturn that needs a sunroof because some kid thinks it's cool.
The wing should be the large wing, standard.
The HID's and 17" Enki wheels and rear dif are just guesses IMO.
The other info of under 30K and the other info is obvious and already known (brembos, recaros.... really?)
Plus, when I called my dealer, I sounded like a total dummy asking about the fax and options. They said they do not believe it, that this information would have been made dealer-wide if it were true.
They don't tell you horsepower, actual price, 5 or 6 speed, nothing of relevance that we already don't know. The pie charts are a nice touch to convince us in thinking this fax is true. I call B.S. on it
Look at the charts! That many are going to opt for the sunroof? Who are they getting their marketing statistics from, high school kids? This is an adult car, meant for SERIOUS DRIVERS.
If I'm wrong, I'll kick myself later. But I doubt I am wrong.

I've seen a couple rollovers....one of them being a 2000 Celica GT-S....it had a sunroof. This was no light rollover, it was on a track at a competition. The driver came out of the car without a scratch on him.
The sunroof adds weight to the car, but then again, weight can depend upon who's driving the car. The difference is minimal.
Nothin but love for ya Mike, but my Evo isn't going to be strictly track, it's gonna be my daily driver as well, so I want to feel at home.
Hooby
It also affects the structural integrity of the car. Makes for a chassis that will have a tad more flex. I like sunroofs, but wouldn't get one on a car that'll be raced. Not every Evo will be raced...actually, a majority of them probably won't be raced.
I really hope both the wing and the sunroof are options. I rarely use my sunroof. It gives you less head room, adds more weight, less strutural rigidy, and is one more thing to break/leak.
As for the wing. I'm not so sure I wanna go for the "boy racer" image. I'm thinking more of a sleeper with no wing or else the smaller one. This going to be my daily driver. I'll drive it hard and may occasionally speed
With the wing I'm a cop magnet, without it I go unnoticed. It may depend on how much money I save with out the wing. I would much rather spend the money on a 6 speed, or better rims, or even a better stereo.
If I decide later I want a wing I could put one on. I, personally, would prefer both to be an option.

I believe the fax/doc is real but it didn't come directly from MMNA - too many mistakes on it. Most likely it came from a regional manager who put it together to help out dealers who really don't know what an Evo is. I do believe the info about standard features and orderable configs is accurate though since these regional managers probably have that type of info from MMNA themselves.
