AVG. Insurance rate?

hey guys, my bro is 27 looking to buy a used black evo 8. the only thing is, he is worried insurance will be sky high. does anyone know how much it is? also monthly payments?

Dude, it varies. That's why i said search; not because I'm lazy. People are paying wildly different prices based on their age, location, and amount of research they've done (and of course their driving record). If you look through old posts you can probably guestimate your premiums without having to dump all your personal info in this thread.

Now can somebody please close it.

I am paying 540 for 6 months. But I am an old fart, have an impeccable driving record, no tickets, no accidents, my insurance agent is my friend and I live in a rural area. I would say you can expect to pay anywhere from $1000-$4000 per year. I know its a big spread, but like the man said, "it depends".

go online and get some comparative quotes..... if ya dont mind having an insurance company not based in your state it maybe a good idea because i got some hell of a good quotes.

26.. in jersey with crazy insurance.... was 2000 per year but with a ticket and 2 0 point violation... now its 2700...
