He's talking about the old M3, which only has 240hp.

If you think the Evo isn't a mass produced car, you're smoking something. There are THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of Evos all over the world. Hell, they've been building them since what, '93? '94? The new body style only makes them MORE mass produced for the US market.

Also, whoever thinks an Evo 7 will automatically walk all over an STi just because it's an Evo, has obviously never driven either car. Certainly their road manners are a bit different, but they are both formidable weapons in the hands of the right driver. The STi is widely considered to be faster over rough surfaces, while the Evo is more set up for track manners and gets a bit more upset over the rough stuff.

I've ridden shotgun in an STi v5 at well north of the 150mph mark... I've driven an Evo4 at irresponsible speeds on a mountain road... I've ridden in a 22B being put through its paces... and I've driven an STi v6 on track. Not to mention the host of lesser vehicles I have thrashed at one time or another.

In no way is the Evo automatically "better" than a comparably powered Scoob, nor is it worse. They are simply different in the way they handle. Both are incredible machines.

I'll take one of each, thanks... All these US releases give me a big
