is not even the grill thats the worst, is that arch shaped mouth that i hate the most

 

That evo is starting to grow on me to be honest, the two cars look mad nice on that pic, but i d still take that evo over the subbie, just look at that nice Intercooler!!!
Oh and by the way, that engineer who came up with grille, mmm I think he might have done it that way so the car could pass crash tests and be sold in the US. So in my opinion, thank him

The grill isn't bad. I love that blue pic one......if anything ill change the grille to that. Anyhow, does anyone else kinda see a resemblence to the SRT, when looking at that picture of the front.

Exactly what I was thinking. The arch lets you see more IC and means more air to it. Sacrifice being the fog lights but I agree that the more pointed look was probably to pass the 5mph test, I bet it was somethingl like 5 out of 9 times. New Lancer = Sub Porche Ownage for 30K

Its funny...Evo7 compared to bugeyed WRX, I thought the Evo looked a trillion times better. Now its the complete opposite. I love the new Impreza but the front of that Evo looks like crap.

What a difference a year and a half makes.

 

mmmmm.......yummy still looks odd to me but it's less pontiac in this picture so that good enough for me

 

i think both cars look good . . . that subaru looks much better than the ones that are out now. . . in my opinion.

 

I agree with LanEvo...no matter what I do I can't get over the new front fascia, especially the arching...
It'd look better if the arching went downwards like the 6.5 did.

 

i'll take both cars and drive the EVO 4 days out of the week and the scooby 3 days out of the week,damn that would be fun

 

haha what are you guys complaining about? it looks like the whole bumper could be replaced. theres people making US lancers look like evo7's (why god why??!!) why cant you make the evo8 (if it looks like that when it comes out) like the evo7?
