Evo Lower DIN AC controls

Anyone have information about how I can go about getting the Lower DIN AC controls as pictured?

Mods: I put this in the evo forum since I believe only evolutions have this option.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Thats only meant for JDM evos. JDMs have the whole climate control system computerized. Ours is NOT !! The relocation setup for our cars is messed up ! I tried it, didnt succeed at it at ALL ! You've got to rewire the whole setup, fabricate new face plates, fabricate new knobs.. etc etc.. etc..

What? Non one likes our cable flex mechanical systems on our current cars

I hope all 05 MR's and GSR's will have electronical climate contorls to match the STi's at least.

I thought someone had posted some info about an Eclipse panel that would fit our cables and allow relocation of them. Might be worth a search.

where did you get all of the sensors, ecu, etc. from? Do you have to splice a lot of wires, add some relays, etc. to get it to work or could it be a plug and play type deal with all of the components? Just got done checking out a UK service manual that had this A/C setup and it looks like you have to just swap out some components.

My 02 OZ Lancer's AC knob is stuck on MAX AC

Sucks for me. Which is why i wanna get the electronic climate control. Also i wanna relocate it to the lower din so i can fiberglass a screen into the stock location of the Radio/AC.

So anyone have any set in stone info regarding this relocation?

yeah, that would be sweet. I would install a new Kenwood Double Din DVD player and screen. The screen is the entire face 6.5", so there is no need for a motorized face to plop out and get in the way!
