recaros are kinda sad?

my driver side recaro broke :[. i got out of my car today and i was snooping around for something that i thot i might have lost and i found a shard of injection mold plastic (or whatever it is). i'm like... where did this come from? look around and i see my recaro is showing foam. then i look further, the seat is cracked about 6 inches vertically and another 2 inches branched off and where the two cracks converge is where the shard of plastic few off in a triangle shape. this is covered under warantee right? i have 2500 miles :[.

i'm a light fellow, but when I g et in my Evo I notice that I do kinda abuse the recaros when copping a squat... if I were heavy they'd probably break after a while... remember, the recaros have no give of flex. they're solid, and don't cushion the force you put on them.

i weigh 147, and i'm 5'7" which doesn't make me a fatty fatter than fat, but i guess i know how to put my weight in the right place. still confused as to how this can happen though. (looks like i'll really have to look into getting some brides one day soon).

copping a squat is that thing you do when you need to take a number two in the middle of a forest.

Mitsu will prob say, due to eccessive G-forces from the car which spawned from modifying the exhaust, they will not warrenty the claim. You know how they try to get around and cover up flaws and defects.

If it can't hold that weight, I would have to claim defect. It's not like you were reliving childhood days and jumping up and down on them like spring mattress.

shoot I'm 250 and the seats seem fine...the only part is the bolster on the seat bottom seems to be getting pushed in a little bit

The fabric still seems fine but it doesn't seem to like the cornering loads my fat a$$ puts on the seat...
