Coilpacks failed twice and tranny once in our 2002 VW Jetta 1.8T Wagon. No problems for over a year now though. At least all that was covered under warranty.

 

hey arithmetic. i admit i was a little harsh on the r32. i like the car. but if we are not in this for speed then what are we in it for. chrome pieces in the interior or leather seats. you calling me an idiot was a little uncalled for. that is like me giving you sh*t because you drive a lancer. speed is my reason that i spend alot of time and money on my car. good luck on buying your evo or wrx with all sincerity. now i will go back to hitting the pipe.

 

I think the R32 is a bad *** little car...



ok, well,, it has that potential. great hp, proven design, excellent suspension......

but for such a small car it is soooooo heavy.... If they could lose at least 800lbs it would blow the doors off the EVO/STI... not to mention porches , ferraris, etc....

 

After seeing the Evo leather package, R32 doesn't look much better really. Only gauges are nicer.
