Thumbs up DSM and EVO Vendors Feedback Website

A few of use DSMer's set up a new website to rate vendors and sellers on purchases for auto parts. It is similar to the old goodguybadguy.org, except you rate both buyers and sellers for positive and negative feedback, in a forum enviroment. The reason I am posting this here is most Evo vendors also supply DSM parts, so we have a united cause. This is not just to bash vendors, we encourage positive feedback. We have a few vendors that reciprocate links and refer to us, and we have a number of DSM sites that do the same also, including DSMTuners.

Please visit www.vendors-reviewed.com and check it out, help us make our community better for buyers.

ATTN Moderators: I spoke to Mark via email about this, and have emailed Blonde regarding this. Mark said it was ok to post this, if you need I can forward the email to you.

Thanks! Joe

I forgot to mention, but we are listing banners of sites that allow us to post as a thank-you for helping promote this site. Please check out evolutionm.net's banner on our front page!

Thanks again Mark!

I don't think anyone would have a problem with a group of individuals who are trying to make the internet companies responsible for their actions!

Site looks pretty good!

^^^Thanks for the comments! You'd be surprised to know that 99% of the vendors we talked to when we started the site where all for it.

Having sellers sponsor the site creates conflicts of interest, just like it does here.

You're right, it does. Thats why VR isn't sponsered by anyone, well, actually its sponsered by my wallet. We just have sites that refer their customers to us. They feel that we offer a good service, and whenever they get positive feedback its like good advertising. I actually had one vendor tell me that I would be legally libel if something bad was posted on my site about a vendor. Every attorney I talked to said if its stated factually, not as a flamefest, and I have the proper disclaimers, I'm covered. Its still a risk, but not a huge one, considering all the websites people set up out there to bash one thing or another.

Thanks, Joe
