Question What the rpms should be doing once the car is regrounded

Hey all,
Quick question. I have had a lineage ground kit installed on the car for several weeks now and noticed no problems. I was looking for alternatives for installations and I found a couple that seems to look good.

Anyway, my rpms do not change when i turn the AC on. I was told they would go UP a little. Does this sound correct. I followed the recommended diagram and the crap instructions which showed the kit at one point to be ground 3X at one point. I did it and it seems to be doing its job. The diagrams I am seeing from others Is like 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, and 5-6. Mine is like 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 3-5, 5-6 so there is 1 central point within the setup. My thoughts were that when you reground the car the rpms would not change. Comments???

I did a DIY kit on my RS and saw no difference at all except adding weight. I plan to take them off...

I cant remember what the rpms did before I installed the ground kit. I was looking for this noticable difference, but now I can even reference it to anything. I like knowing that the kit is working properly or like you said its added weight. I just need to know if the rpms are reacting like its supposed to or if I didnt make a solid ground and its still running like its grounded stock. Then I need to redo it. Its just a pain to have to go back and do it again. Thats all. I figure, I am going to have go in and reroute anyway when I redo the IC piping, just wanted to either leave it as it is or take a new route.

Better turbo spool, gas mileage, accesories run a little better. Basic garbage.

I installed the same kit , I also lost the idle-up for the a/c. The only thing the kit changed for me was a smoother idle

i actually like my grounding kit... it gives you an extra smoothing revs that you really cant measure on a dyno... i'm not sure if my lights got brighter but i do know idling and reving is abit smoother...

Did you follow the diagram on the instruction booklet or did you do your own configuration. I found similar points just like the instructions and did it just as it was shown (ex. having 1 point with 3 cables coming off of it.)

Grounding is big in Japan. I have heard people claim 5 hp on the dyno but dyno readings fluctuate with repeated runs so who knows. I did notice less static on my radio when going through tunnels and such, and it looks good so it was worth it to me.

yeh, I read that with the kit. It does idle better and rev better. I wanted to make sure its doing what its supposed to be doing. Some guys set it up and say their rpms nudge up a bit with th AC on. I would assume with a good ground that the rpms wouldnt move when the AC is on. Mine dont move. I just dont know what is actually correct.
