buying a new evo. does this deal sound ok.

I've talk to a dealership that's willing to sell me a new 2003.(not zero miles because there gonna have to drive it from one of there dealerships in a different state) Apex Silver Evo 8 For 26,900. it has a not sure if it has a sunroof yet. but is has the CF wing. Sounds like a pretty good deal. I've only found one other evo that's used that's worth having but it's 600-700 miles away and it has 11k miles and they want 24,800. say color and options. I I'm taking my truck to the guy that's buying right now. So, I'm definatly getting an evo. what's some opinions. go used and save a grand or so. or buy a new one for about $1500 more that brand new.

I'd buy new man.. With 11k miles your looking at buying tires already which will run you about 210 a tire if you go with what comes on it stock. Not to mention the wear and tear and having to worry how the car was taken car of.

The way I see it is... if you're going to spend that much money.. get what you want (color, options etc..)

Thanks for the reply's. I wish I could find another dealership w/ a new white one that would sell it to me for that same price. I've put a deposit down on a red one. but If I could find blue or white for that same price I wouldn't complain. the first Stealership I went to wanted 32,000+tax for a new stock evo. just like what I put a deposit on. I'm gettin mine for 26,900+tax. I've got a little thinkin to do.

I say get the new one, not used but have them ship it instead driving it. Who knows what the hell the guy is going to do on the way to the dealership.

If you're going to spend that much money, buy new, and destroy it yourself, instead of inheriting someone else's abuse ;p

when I went to the dealer I told them that I had deposit in 3 different ones when they came out, they were putting a preaty high mark-ups on them, but they gave it to me for MSRP back then because they wanted me to get it from them. Go to this dealer couple of times and show them the interest and maybe they will go for it, at least mine did. Good luck.

Yeah, I'm gonna go with the new one. but if it doesn't have the CF wing on it. I'm not gonna buy it from him. I told the sales guy 3 different time yesterday to see if the car has the CF wing and he never answered me. So, if it doesn't he's screw'd becuase the car is already being shiped to Knoxville to there dealership by truck. and it cost them 300 dollars to ship. I told them I'm not gonna pay it. they said ok. I'm guessin there kinda low on sales at the particular dealer. they seem to really need to sale a car or actually care about there customers. Not sure. guess I'll find out when the car comes in.
