Did Mitsubishi fix any of the problems they had on the 03 models for the 04's?

Nope....I have seen 04 MY owners complain of both problems. In fact, one 04 owner mentioned that he was getting the 0300 cel within the first few thousand miles.

i have an 03 and i haven't encountered any other problem then the 0300.. which really doesn't cause much of a problem... no squeekyness... stiffness. not a problem.. its expected from the evo... i thinkt he only changes are hte leather option. and the stereo

A pillar (OT)

The A pillar is the part of the car body that runs between the windshield and the front seat window, the B pillar runs between the front seat doors and rear doors, and the C pillar runs between the rear seats and rear window (afaik). If you read about an A pillar guage pod, it's something that mounts to the interior between the windwhiled and the driver's door.

For you. For others, it renders their car unsafe to drive on the freeway.

btw....the A pillar rattle people are talking about is just a small noise created by some loose wiring behind the plastic interior panel cover, just above the passanger side dashboard.

And it has the RS trim! There's still a rattle in the A piller, but all you can hear anyway are trainmission and road noises from lack of sound deadening material
