Hello. My wing on my Black Evo has faded on the top.It's not shiny like the undersides.has anyone had this problem or is it due to the sun here in Florida?Thanks for any replys.

 

Have you been waxing it with UV Protectant wax like recommended from Mitsu?

 

More specifically....Have you been waxing it with a product that is non-abrasive (ie not a polish) and one that has UV protectants?

 

i live in orlando and mine is still perfect

 

need to sandblast, polish then clear coat it. If you got some money, you could always get the MR full CF wing... Or half wing without CF.

 

I didn't know about the polish on the wing.I haven't put wax on it or any other abrasive polishes. I just installed my exhaust and was told that maybe the top part of the wing wasn't clear coated.I'll have to ask the dealer next week. My car is only 7months old. I'll complain to the dealer. Thanks for the info......
I spoke to my service manager and he has ordered the center piece of the wing.He has replaced a few of these on other cars and hasn't had any problems since.
