Question Exhaust Hangers

I was considering buying a new exhaust, and it most likely will be the Greddy Ti. I am new to the whole tuning world and i was just wondering about what happens with the exhaust hangers. When you order a new catback, do you use existing hangers? can you buy new ones made of something with better quality such as SS? And if so, which ones do you recommend? Any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Try looking at www.kartboy.com. They sell exhaust hangers for the evo.

Exhaust hangers are all the same. I wouldn't waste money on it. The stock ones are pretty sturdy.

But if you want to, the aftermarket kartboyz ones will flex less and be able to minimise movement better.

There are quite a few how-to on exhaust in the how-to forum. Check it out.

Most of the time, the stock hangers will work fine. You will only need the Kartboy hangers if you have a clearance or rattling issue. The Kartboy pieces are nice. I would go ahead and install your exhaust. Get the hangers if you have an issue.

With my APS exaust the stock hangers were stressed a little bit. With the Kartboys there was no stress and felt a little more solid.
