Question Evolution Ownership Study (Diagnostic Research Intl)

Any other Evo owners out there receive a survey (8 pages) from Diagnostic Research International? Its questions seem to be very invasive....

Ha, I got one today too. I agree with you GT-One, the questions didn't seem entirely necessary to build a better sports car.

Yeah... I don't want to be on some marketing mailing list. The questions were silly... I mean one said something like "Owning a sports car makes me: A) More sexually attractive" or something like that ... "Studies" like this for ad demographic gathering are really annoying. I was debating filling it out with totally wacko answers, but I figured why waste my time, so I got online to waste my time here

It's definitely to build a "better" ad campaign

What?!

So my new MR Edition won't make me more attractive?!

Well golly gee, what am earth am I buying this car for?? Thanks for giving me the heads up now, so I can move to my fallback plan of a VW New Beetle. Of course, we can thank Diagnostic Research International for bringing all of this to light! Thanks DRI!

When I first saw it thought I'd get a chance to let really hear how they are screwing up IMO. But after sitting down and reading through it, I saw it was obviously aimed at determining marketing information. Kind of made me very sad, since seems to be ignoring my emails and letters.

My wife and I were in stitches reading some of the questions:

Do you think of your sports car as:

a. your lover?
b. your friend?
etc....

Definitely material for the marketing departments.

Dare I ask what some of the other questions are?

"Do you rub your naked body against your car?

A) Never
B) No, but I have though about it
C) Once
D) Somtimes
E) These stains... they won't come out!"

LOL!!!

Yeah, I got one, too. They ask questions about how you drive the car and if it's taken to the track, etc. Like anyone in their right mind would answer those questions truthfully......It's just looking to void some more warranties.
