Just got my new WR Engine Damper

I haven't taken pics yet (will tomorrow), but I got this today:

http://www.prostreetonline.com/buy/w...ngine_dampers/

It's supposed to absorb vibrations for lumpy idles with cams, and all other vibrations.

Worth a shot, and if anything it looks cool

I'll respond later with pics and impressions.

EDIT: Here is the install, and pics:

It's hard to explain, but the car definately feels "different". Almost smoother, less jerky. I'm venting to atmosphere, and sometimes when in a low gear in traffic, the car bucks a little bit if I slack with the clutch... now with this, when it bucks, its very smooth. Hard to explain, but you can definately feel the "absorbtion".

Launching the car, it feels more smooth, and straight. The car even idles smoother.

I'm happy with it

I had one on my RSX and it felt pretty nice inbetween shifts. But it made the whole car shake like using polyurethane engine mounts

Are you sure it was from the damper? The damper is suppose to absorb the shaking, not add to it.

yeah i'm sure. Its suppose to minimize the movement of the engine. Thats why its attached to the chassis which will add a small amount of vibration to the whole car. Launching feels better because you don't get the engine will move with the chassis which will make shifting more direct as well.

More weight I don't need. And it's on the front too.

One of the best features of this damper is that my car shifts like BUTTER! I'm guessing its because the engine doesn't move as much, so the shift linkage is right in place. Imagine sitting in your car with the car turned off, and shifting gears. It's much smoother than when you are driving. Now with this new part, my car shifts almost like that. I was utterly impressed. To me, thats worth adding about 2 lbs to my car
