Ok so I had one of my headlights replaced and the dealership had the new one shiped from japan. it has been two weeks since i have had the headlight in, but my problem is that the stock one has like a purple-ish tent to it and the new one is white. the dealership told me that i need to give it time and it will turn. But here's my question, in japan our evo's are actually called the evoVIII, but i heard here they are just called evolutions. do you think in japan they use a white HID and not the HIDs that come in our's stock?

Your dealer is correct. The new bulb will be a different color until after approximately 100 hours of burn time. After that, it will match your other bulb's color.
