Gauge Help Extend Factory to Aftermarket

Ok so I have the Factory gauges and moved them to the top most din with no problem. I then decided that I didn't like the factory placement or the fact that the gauges where hard to read and lit up in the ugliest possible manner. So I purchased a Triple A Pillar Gauge pod and 3 gauges from AC Autotechnic. Boost/Vac, Air/Fuel Ratio, and Oil Temp. Obviously I was going to get Boost, I choose the Oil Temp because I assumed I could unplug the factory Oil Temp and extend it and AF because the car is modified and soon to be tuned.

Here is the question.....Has anyone just extended the factory gauge wiring to different gauges. In my case to the ACAutotechnin gauges in the A-Pillar? Do you see anything wrong with this idea? The only line left to run would be the AF gauge. Is it OK to daisy chain the Power and grounds to the same source....Again I am asking this since I already have factory gauges....Last where do I hook up the AF sensor wire. The gauge is a standard wire that I assume needs to be tapped in somewhere. Where do you recommend I do this and I want to stay away from the ECU. Also can you describe where this location is? Thanks!!
BTW I have AC Autotechnic S7 Electro Illuminescent Gauges. Please help fast, today is my only day to install. Also do you recommend crimps being good enough to extend the wires?

THANKS
