Would you, do you, VALET your EVO???
i love my car as much as any evo owner. i wash and park my own car. why pay someone else to do something you can do yourself..... would you pay someone to wipe your a$$ ???? fighting with a lot manager about a dent, scratches, or mechanical failure? try proving it was valets fault. damn near impossible. it does'nt matter how much $ you got it boils down to laziness and looking classy.
to this day i have NO dents or scratches from parking my own car and i have no swirl marks from car washes. peace of mind is everything.

Vegas valets make a lot, but they're also union (at least at the major casinos). It's also usually harder to get on a crew at a casino. You can make good money, it all depends on how much money the company/lot manager are taking for themselves.
I have too much time, money, blood, sweat, and tears invested into all my cars to leave it in the hands of some valet parker. I've driven every single mile on my EVO and I intend to keep it that way.

Something to think about..... When you valet, you car is insured and legally the responsability of the valet compant the whole time. This means that if something happens, be it the valet or not, they have to cover you.
For example, you pay for the valet service or use it. You park or they park your EVO in their lot. Someone hits it...either another valet or a complete stranger. They are still responsible. Why, b/c it is a secured lot. This is the LAW.
Now, if you say "F*** the valet, i'm gonna park over there" and some a-hole hits your car, guess what? Now YOU have to pay and deal with your insurance.

Well, I don't think insurance will cover wear and tear on your car from the valet's abuse. Let's say they took your EVO and did a few donuts and grinded the gears a little bit. If your car develops problems down the line due to the valet's abuse, their insurance is not going to cover that as they can just blame you, the owner, for it.
