What'd you end up paying for your EVO?
i also find myself trying to make a big decision i really wanted the evo mr until the really watered down specs came out so now do i just go for the used 2003 i was looking at or do i go for a still new 04 on the dealer floor or do i splurge for the 05 gsr with the upgraded turbo and wastegate
I'd love to use the 10k for mods but I need to drop that price down for lower payments (and yeah I am gonna be financing).
What I found out if I can get the car at like 29ish and with the 10k down it'll come out to around 350 or under a month, then slowly but surely mod it up.
Of course one of the first mods are going to be changing those tail lights and find someone who will buy those altezza's. .

Whatup,
I was just confused about this statement? Why does the 10K go into their pocket any different from making payments. If the dealer does the financing, it all goes in their pocket in addition to the interest?
FRom a financial perspective, If you put more money down, you'll save on interest, but you need to decide if that's the best use of the cash vs other potential uses (investing it, paying off other debt, etc. etc.).
BTW, I wouldn't condone odometer fraud either, heh.

make sure u check all the available rebates offered by mitsubishi.. thats my best advice.. dealerships are stoopid, lazy, and scandulous.. they either dont know about these rebates or they dont wanna mention it
the $29,100 o.t.d. price I paid is a result of 2 rebates... loyal customer rebate ($500, provide proof u had another mitsu previously) and graduating college student rebate ($500, provide proof you're currently a full time student and will gruduate within 12 months)
good luck

.
if they ever check mileage, swap clusters. also gives you buying power if u ever need to sell it as the buyer won't really know how many "miles" the car has
