Profec B Spec II sucks my A$$
so i'm driving the other day and i step on my car and i notice the boost is at 30 psi and my wastegate isn't opening.
before i blow my car up i let off the gas and am praying a line came off of the wastegate...no...it didn't
the stepping motor on my Greddy Profec B spec II that i've had for less than a year is gone...

at least they sent u all the parts!! I understand ur feelings but u are being a little harsh here, remember when modifying a car **** happens. good luck and let me know if ya find replacement parts bc I could use some as well since they didnt send them with my first e-01.

Sh_t does happen...definately understandable...but having a product completely fail when it comes from a reputable company like Greddy shouldn't happen.
Everything else should fail before that does.
i put a hallman manual on the car for less than $100 and it works better than the $300+ EBC...tecnically it shouldn't go down like that

This is one of the reasons why we always recommend the Hallman boost controller. Can't go wrong, and you can even control it in the cockpit:

if you do a bit of reading in some other car forums you will notice that this is not all that uncommon to have a failure with Greddy-Trust B/C solenoid........
a personal freind of mine had his solenoid fail with less than a year of use on it as well.
seems as if its not the unit, but always the Solenoid, i imagine the valve there sourcing is not up to the long term heat produced in engine bays
had my Blitz Dual-SBC-id for almost 2 years now & no problems with it .......(even after cracking the solenoid housing in a head on collision)
a personal freind of mine had his solenoid fail with less than a year of use on it as well.
