shift light help

ok guys i need help from some one who can help me understand how to wire a shift light to the utec

pin 9-shift light 1
pin 8 shift light 2
pin 3 shift light 3

shift light outputs are pulldown 100ma---are these outputs the ground of the circuit and you get the power from somewhere else

or are they power and you ground somewhere else...

i cant understand how to wire this or if i need to use all three shift light outputs to make it work
regards rick

Basically each output is rated for 100mA, so you can't put any huge lights, think LEDS. So you get the 3 ground wires, and just find a switched 12v for them somewhere else. You can just hook up any of them and set them up in the Utec, but it makes sense to use all 3.
