Nifty brake cooling ducts
it doens't rob the oil cooler of air if you do it right. but that is also the cause for getting a new bumper.
also the cooling guides are not as good as real ducting... for oen they don't move as much air and for two they break off at high speeds, you can't turn these things off... so if you go above 100 they snap.

I did this without removing the backing shield, I just pointed the end of the hose directly at the caliper and rotor opening in the shield. I am just worried at speeds of 100+ mph if they will stay put, *crosses fingers* or else my next track day could be very interesting...
in order for this to work properly you would have to; take the backing plate that you removed and cut a hole in it the size of the ducting, weld a 1 to 2 inch flange to the backing plate so that it forms a ring.spot weld every 1 inch or so around the perimeter to create a makeshift lip,put the hose over the flange and use either a large nylon zip tie or large hose clamp.you would have to do a pretty serious fabrcation for a duct on either side of the front bumper so that air is forced directly into the hose in an 8.the 9 bumper has these already there just have to hook the hoses to these ducts in a similar fashion.this should work properly and look the part as well.
