How do you remove the A-Pillar?

i'm going to be installing my DEFI D Boost gauge tomorrow hopefully, I just needed to know how to remove the stock driver side A-Pillar?

I have a autometer single gauge pod for the a-pillar, so I need to install that.

Thanks

Pull from the top working down. Note that there is a pin at the top and two clips, with the lowest about 60% from the top. The metal clips are attached to the cover and can be damaged when you remove the cover. Check the lower clip for damage. They run $0.90 if you must replace them.

The lower portion of the cover is held to the dash by two long plastic strips that hook into slots in the dash. You will have to pull up and away from the pillar to get the cover free of the dash. I suggest using blue masking tape on the dash area around the piller as the dash pad is VERY easy to damage.

When you put the cover back on expect to push down at the base of the cover to latch the strips into the dash. The bottom of the cover sits 1/8" below the level of the dash. This is normal. If you don't latch it is place the cover will make a buzzing noise at some RPMs. (Trust me on this.)
