What did I remove? PICS included HELP!

HI team I just installed my 3' Downpipe but I think thet lower sway bar or somthingwas in the way. I removed it, but I am so worried that it is a critical part of the car. Here are pics of my and my roomate trying to install the downpipe and the bars being in the way. ONly one was removed, the other had to be in order to get it to fit. IS there another after market part, or did I install the downpipe wrong.

that is as far is I could get the bar to get to where it needed to be.

Thats not me that is my roomate . BUT that is the downpipe in the way. I dont think the heat wrap was thick enough to be the culprit, but if anyone knows please help.....I am so worried right now....BUT THE CAR HAULS ars.....

You need to put spacers in it so the downpipe can clear especially if you have heat wrap on the downpipe take care bud

Tie bars, just go to home depot and get some spacers, and maybe some longer bolts. The bolt size are Metric, M1.25, I think. Correct me if I'm wrong, please.

the same thing happened to me when i installed mine,i just put two washers in each bolt location to space it from the chassis-then when my suspension was getting done by RRE he just took this tool that punched the tie bar down to clear

Yeah the bolts are at home depot. You need them to be about 20mm longer. I also recommend buying thick nuts instead of using a lot of spacers. Its cheaper and easier.
