Need Help?

I have a Hallman MBC and i want to run 20PSI, now will I hold 20PSI in each gear or will it be different in the lower gears from the higher ones. Also is there a certain gear or rpm I should adjust the boost by or once i hit 20 psi and hold it in 1st gear am i good?

You should set your boost in 3rd or 4th gear. Your 1st and 2nd gear boost will be slightly lower than the higher gears, that's just the way a MBC is. If you have 93 or 94 octane, you should set your boost to 20-21 in 4th and you should have no problems. That's what I'm running right now on 94 octane. Just remember once you get your boost up to like 18 or so, slowly crank it up after each pull to make sure you don't overboost. Even if it means getting out of your car 15-20 times to adjust the MBC, like I did. One last tip... In the cold weather you will also overboost, so you might have to turn it down some come winter.
