I found vaseline very helpful to squeeze my hand in there to thread in the banjo bolt on the master. I'm not kidding. I figured this out the first time after struggling with it long enough in 90 degree heat that my hand became slippery with sweat and then I was able to get it in.

 

HAHA! Wish I thought of this. Had the same issue. I have tiny wrists and it wasn't too bad, but highly uncomfortable.

 

What's the discomfort attributted to? Having to squeeze your hand in between the firewall and strut tower brace?
