Re: Need to know how to connect an Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge

My brother-in-law is going to install it for me, but he says he needs a wiring diagram to see which wire he would tap into to. Also to see exactly where the computer is located. Does anyone have such a diagram or already know where to tap into?

I looked in the How-to's but all they are all Boost Guage installs which we already did.

Thanks in advance.

if you want to tap in the wires,
go see apexi turbo timer installation.
picture of ecu, picture of ecu diagram shown.
or you can just tap into O2 sensor.

Can tap the o2 sensor or the Ecu on PIN 76. The front o2 sensor reading. The ecu is under the glove box.

real sweet, but it won't give you an accurate look at your air to fuel ratios because the sample rates aren't taken as often with a narrowband 02 sensor.

Hehe...well that would be a bit tough for me to explain to her, and she bought it for my bday. So in it goes! =)

If you are quoting me, then I am refering to on the ECU. There is one wire for each pin.

Might be one on top of eachother but they are two different pin locations. Make sure you have the connector facing the right way and then splice into it.
