help on fuel/air gauge

Question help on fuel/air gauge

i bought a auto meter fuel/air gauge (stotch) and the intruction tell me nothing on how to install it! i have a rough idea but dont want to risk killing the gauge or somthing worse. i have a 03 evo 8 and the gauge is a carbon fiber. thanks for any help you can give.

I did mine exactly like this guy did with my Defi D A/F gauge. Get all of your 12V power from the empty fuse slots under the coin tray in the cabin, by using add-a-circuits. (The only empty slots in the panel, supposed to be for sunroof and cruise control I think.) Tap the dimmer switch for your illumination. (Green and white wire, I think) For your ground, any spot of bare metal will suffice. This way is the cleanest install. You only have to tap two wires. One on the O2 sensor and one on the dimmer switch.

thanx

i do that you for the link but the gauge i have has just 3 wires hot ground and oi. the real question no matter how stupid it may sound is where to conect the oi wire i havnt a clue where it may be other than in the engine bay.
