Lower instrument panel

I couldn't find any working links to remove this. Can someone give me a quick step by step on how to remove the lower instrument panel under the steering wheel. I took the two main screws out and peeked around but I'm not a car guru by a long shot and don't want to mess anything up.

Thanks in advance.

edit: It's an '05 Evo 8 and the only controls on the panel are the trunk and instrument panel dimmer.

Just the plastic panel under the steering wheel? You'll want to also remove the 2 screws holding the hood release on there. (lay down on the floormat and look straight up) Also pull the dimmer switch panel out by pushing up on the rear portion of it. Then you can just pull on the whole big plastic panel and it should pop out.

I just had mine out a couple of days ago. ('05 Evo-Non HID) If you have HID headlights, there may be more to do with that adjuster knob.
