go to a nut/bolt store and buy 8mmx1.25 threaded rod in a metric grade 5. get 2-3 nuts. cut it about 10" long and thread the nuts up it. insert the end that you didn't cut, along with a lot of antisieze and turn REAL slowly. took me around 15min to compress it enough to get the cam gears off.
make sure you don't go to home depot/walmart and buy the rod. purchase from a specialty store and insist on grade5(that's what the guy that I bought mine from called it). It is supposed to be the same strength as american grade 8....
