Taillight removal

How do you get the harness plug (the one that plugs into the harness coming from the car and goes to the 4 bulbs) off the back of the taillight housing? I've tried to manuever this thing off the back of my tail and cannot get it off for the life of me

Really? I should just come off. Have you tried a flat tip screwdriver?

Oh wait....I know what you're talking about. I couldn't get that one off either. I had to just break it off (by accident). Then I glued it back.

I think you're thinking of the connector that comes from the car itself and plugs into the tail light.

I'm talking about the connector that's mounted to the tail.

thanks, but they never removed the connector that is secured on the back of the tail. That's what I want to remove...as so there is NO wiring on the back of the tail at all.

+1

I put my VII tals on the VIII, then took them off and replaced the stockers. Then I put the VII tails on the IX. Never broke anything.
