do you have to remove to subframe to get transfer case out?
I'm swapping out my transfer case and I'm about to drop the subframe.
I have the transfer case free but there is no way to get it to out... just can't move it around in any way that it will slide out.
IF I was to pull the transmission (which I have no need to do) - then it would probably come out easily.
So it looks like when I get back to work in the morning, I'll be dropping the subframe to get it out.
so if anybody has other advice then please let me know to save me from dropping the subframe if I can avoid it... thanks.
Aaron
p.s. dropping the subframe will = another aligment

I know I'm bumping an old post but for reference you do not have to remove the subframe, if you remove it from the front of the motor. Just wiggle it out. We've pulled it this way over 4 times. On seperate Evo VIII's.
