Evo 8 - fitting 3rd stop light after changing spoiler

Hi,

I've searched this forum but I don't believe anyone has ever reported something similar.

I have changed the small wing (I believe it's called the OZ wing) for the carbon fiber oem wing.

Problem is I lost the 3rd stop light that was fitted on the spoiler.

Since I don't want any trouble with local traffic regulations, I am planning to fit an interior stop light. I want an OEM look as well.

I was given a quote for parts at Mitsubishi but they had none on stock.

Questions:

1 - Can anyone find me a picture of an OEM interior 3rd stop light (fitted)?

2 - Is the light the same as any other Lancer?

3 - Can I fit it myself without too much hassle?

Thanks in advance!

it is the same as the regular lancers and it should have the wires and plug already run. open your trunk and look btwn the two speakers.

I do see a lose white plug there. Should be it.

I'll order the parts and try to document the process as I go.
