Adjust hand brake?

After 35,000 miles my handbrake is lever needs to be pulled up quite high to work well. I'm assuming this is from cable stretch and there is some simple way to adjust it.

So how? I haven't really looked at it yet.

Thanks.

I just got finished adjusting it and the only thing that slightly threw me was that there is a little tab that contacts the flats on the nut to keep it from turning once adjusted.

It was kind of early, I couldn't see exactly what was going on (because I wasn't fully awake) and, it felt like I was rounding the nut or had one size too big of a socket. Upon further investigation thats just how it feels and 10mm is the proper size.

I adjusted mine to just below the factory spec something like 4 clicks and have no dragging.
