How do you tighten front bumper to get rid of gap between headlights?

I went off track a few weeks ago and the front end went over a burm. Now there is a small gap between the front bumper and the headlights. Nothing seems to be broken and I can see a small white tab that pushes into the headlights, but when I push up on the front bumper it doesn't stay. Anyone know what I need to tighten to get rid of the gap or do I need to just take off the bumper and put it back on again? Thanks.

You most likely broke some of the clips that hold the bumper in place. Take it off if you want to see for sure and replace any clips you may have broken. Just be careful when you are pulling it off so that you do not break the rest of the clips. Most clips on most cars require a clip puller tool, but with a flathead and some patience you can prolly get around using one, or just buy one next time your at the tool dept. Call your mitsu dealer's parts counter and get plenty of replacement clips. They are really cheap. I promise you its prolly just a few busted clips. Hope this helps later

Did you take out your front crash beam??? If not, then ^^^ is correct, you need some new clips or the screw the holds that side may be loose, there is one bolt and two plastic philips retainers under each fender. There are only 6 actual bolts that hold the bumper on, the rest are plastic clips to save weight I guess. Peace.

Same here. I have taken the bumper off 5 times since someone backed into me and I can't get rid of it. Maybe it's time to break out the hammer.

check where the bumper mounts up and see if any of those locations are bent in any way

there is this small plastic clip in the fender that holds the bumper to the fender tight. without it, it wont be flush 100% and create a gap under the headlights. double check that
