Considering getting the Ralliart carbon fiber center console. Wondered if anyone had installed one, and do you need to take out the center console or does just the "top" part come off (that you are replacing with the carbon fiber piece)? Searched this one several times but couldn't find an answer so please don't flame me!

just the top part, it pops off.

 

From what I have read you have to cut another hole or modify the under dash for the right hand drive Ralliart Center Console. It's not just "plug and play"

 

Thanks for the info! Gruppe-s claims it plug and play. Guess I'll wait to see what others say before purchasing it.

It's not the dash just the piece that runs down the drive shaft tunnel that has the ashtray,shifter boot and lighter etc. There's a pic of it in the link below.
