Carbon Center Console

Does ANYONE make a complete carbon fiber console? I'm talking about the entire center console...cup holders, center compartment, arm rest, shifter console, etc....the ENTIRE unit.

I've seen the one on Ebay that has the cup holders but I've bought a CF piece from that company and the quality was miserable. It looked like a kid did it in his garage with none of the correct tools to do the job. I'm looking for a Rexpeed type quality piece.

Does ANYONE make this entire unit?

From what I've seen, no one makes what you're looking for. You would probably have to get one custom made.

I recently started compiling a list of every carbon fiber part available for the CT9A (so that I can figure out if all of the CF parts that I want are available in the same weave... I know, OCD) and the closest thing I've seen to an entire console is the back half of the console made by Fibercation (here's a link to their site, but there's no info on the part). However, it looks like it might just be an overlay since you can see that the cupholders are still gray plastic.

I think JDP has a cabon console (front portion only- the top part with the ashtray and lighter) coming out soon, but I remember looking at the photos and thinking it was also an overlay. There was a thread with photos, but it looks like it was deleted (see this thread). And of course there are the Ralliart consoles.

I don't like overlays, and I know the cost is a lot higher, but I wish there were more full CF replacement parts available.

Has anyone contacted these people? Three emails and ZERO response. Obviously they don't want the business.

You may want to google Fibercation first and see the results.

ive dealt with 2 companies that do the overlay as you send them your pieces, both of them were horrible!!! you dont even want to know what ive gone through to get carbon work done and redone and still ended up with a decent product after long waiting periods. i wish rexpeed would just make everything in the evo available in carbon fiber lol ive been looking all over for a company that does excellent work, but have not really found any except one, which is overseas. the company ive found is http://www.robson-design.com, im possibly thinking about giving them a try depending on shipping costs.

I agree with you. Rexpeed makes outstanding quality products. It's a shame they don't make full interior packages.
