Major Issue Of Evo? Someone Help Me Out!!
the battery is working, but it just couldnt connect to the oem ecu. Just like the ecu program is fked. god i dont even know what is going on right now but im pretty sure it is not the damn hoses disconnected. ANY OTHER SUGGESTION!?
there was athread about someone with a flashed ecu whos car died and wouldn't start last night sounds like you have the same problemthe threadstitle was something like '' dynoflash f*cked my ecu" or something close i believe. this is pretty fishy
Its hard to say as there could be a bunch of things but, since you said the diagnostic port was unable to reach the ECU or read it I would have to say the ECU took a poop.
Before you shot yourself, simply try resetting the ECU. Disconnect both the negative and positive battery terminals from the battery. Once that is done and obviously only after that has been done, touch the 2 wire terminals together. This will drain the electrical system and essentially reset the whole system. Don'y worry about it short circuiting, it will not.
After that let the car sit, with the battery still disconnected, for a about 5 minutes. After the time is up reinstall the battery terminals and give it a shot. I have run into this problem on a customer of mine and it solved the problem but, he did not have a ECU flash. I can't say for certain that your flash will be lost, but I am near certain it will not be as it is essentially the new program for the ECU so it should be uneffected.
The only time you would lose a flash is if it was reflashed so, like I said you should be fine.
Hope this solves it.

Hey man do you have a dynoflash? I had the same isssue when I tool my car to be reflashed whereby Al changed my immobolizer code without my permission or telling me the new one......no one could read my ecu or reflash my car.

Finally!
Ok, I got it fixed in Turbotrix. Finally, Mark/Jeff found out that the ecu and ignition fked up. Mark transfered the datas(Flash) from broken ecu to the new one.I spent pretty much on the labor and parts but it is working. sigh..

So you're saying the ECU shorted out or something?
