Major Issue Of Evo? Someone Help Me Out!!

Im from New Jersey I was going to New York City, Queens, crossing thru Williamburg Bridge and all the sudden my car died. At first I thought it was my HKS BOV SSQV adapter disconnected from the air intake pipe. I stopped in middle of Williamburg bridge, popped my hook trying to see whats happening to my car. (Yankees freaking honk the shiet outta me ) Anyway, I tried to start my engine and it works but it seems like pipe from somewhere disconnected. No air flow, car choking like hell.. my car cant even move but the engine is on. Engine light did not pop out. Make the long story short, lot of carbon monoxide came out from my exhaust. I wonder if you guys know what is happened. My mechanic still looking what is going on?

What I did to my car :: I put in catback, testpipe, downpipe, lower intercooler pipe, cams, fuel pumps and man-made o2 simulator(to fool my car's ecu) , compstar alarm and TUNED!!

DO YOU GUYS THINK IT IS MY SHOCK ECU PROBLEM? what do you guys think?

PS: now my car is sitting in my mechanic's garage and he still trying to find the error that caused those problem! SOMEONE HELP OUT!!

check for boost leaks, you said that you put a lower IC pipe. Check the couplings. I've heard some Evos on the forum having the same issue when driving. They had IC couplings popping. Good Luck!

sounds like you blew off a intercooler hose, upper or lower I have had it happen a few times. just reconnect and tighten down. I usually hear a loud poof when it occurs.

+1 on a hose.

My car fell flat on it's face and died when I popped the intake hose off the throttle body.

Dude, check your upper IC pipe... the one that connects to the intake manifold/throttle body.

Have your mechanic check the hoses like everyones saying. Happened to me all the time with my old 240. Only the 240 would still move just barely... Couldnt go over 3k rpms. The fact that its not even starting anymore has me worried though.

I hope he has a MUT or the car wont start with a ECM out of another car. Until the immobliser code is set.

I really dont mean to sound like an ***, but has your mechanic checked over everything already? Honestly? Cause it sounds like he poped your hood said "everything looks fine here must be the ECU" Again im not trying to sound like a jerk im just trying to help you out.
