ss o2 housing install?

do i have to take off the downpipe to install an ss o2 housing or can i just take off the manifold then the stock o2 housing and put on the new one let me know thanks.

yes you have to remove the downpipe. what do you think it connects to??

take the turbo off, it makes the job easier.. this isnt fun to change, hope you have small fingers..

i just did mine from underneath, just take out the radiator and it'd be cake

Drop the dp,remove the licp hose, take off the manifold and its pretty self explanatory from there.. The only thing you may run into is having problems removing the o2 sensor cause sometimes that thing welds itself in there.. When i had my 05 i had to take out the hotside and take it to a shop so they could take the sensor out of the o2 housing.. Everything else is not hard, you just need the right tools and patience.. The worst bolts to take out is the one behind the o2 housing thats located by the block and the other one is the nut that is under the o2 housing that is close to the turbo outlet pipe for that you will need a 14mm long wrench
